Day 25 - 40 Day Prayer & Empowerment Challenge

"I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon a tower, and will watch to see what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Habakkuk 2:1-3

Most of the time it is nearly impossible to fathom what we've been purposed to do on this earth.  We struggle with grasping our worthiness to do what others consider unthinkable and we find it hard to wrap our minds around being great, awesome, and amazing; and, that is whether we've been called to care for a terminally ill child of spouse, quit your job to move in and tend to elderly parents, sing in the opera, write a best seller, or minister in Africa.  No matter what our purpose, once we identify it, we sometimes grow impatient in doing well, practicing, planning and living with our purpose tucked away in our minds and hearts.  But just as the aforementioned scripture stated, that though it tarry wait on it. It will surely come!

While waiting,  take time to keep dreaming more and bigger, and when the picture is most vivid, write the vision and make it plain.  At some point, you should be able to see yourself doing what your are purposed to do, but you need to be able to see it all the time.  So, write it down in words, drawings, and/or pictures.  Make it clear and compelling where your supporters will run with it and be the hands, feet, and lips which help bring it life.   People will help you and follow you; however, you must stay in faith while waiting.  Then, so will they.  When, to time is right for your purpose to be fulfilled, it will not tarry any longer.  So remain faithful, optimistic, resilient, clear, and in action towards your purpose.  You will not be sorry!

Lord, I am so thankful for this lesson on waiting.  It is during these times that we exercise our faith.  We know that you have something special that only each of us can do on this earth; and, today, we accept it.  We know that it will bring you glory as others look upon us in awe knowing that something greater is working with us, and they'll be drawn to you through us.  We are writing it down, today, either in words, pictures, or both and sharing it only with those who've been assigned to help carry it out.  We will remain in faith while waiting for the manifestation.  Thank you for guidance & Amen!
