Day 28 - 40 Day Prayer & Empowerment Challenge

Identifying your purpose is really not complicated.  It just boils down to knowing yourself, accepting yourself, loving what you have to offer, and then offering it.  It is when we go against what we are born to do that life feels like a struggle and our reason for being here appears complicated.  There are challenges that you will experience while living out your purpose, but those hurdles are just that.  We tend to jump them and keep going.

There are few things that will help serve as a guide when you're wondering whether you're still on track and they are as follows:

Your Purpose...

P –    Usually involves helping PEOPLE.  Whether you have a very creative niche to create things which give people a better quality of life or whether you're a gifted at helping wounded people heal, your purpose will more involve improving others' lives in some way.

U –    Can only be fulfilled by YOU!!! So many times, we attempt to pass on our gifts to others and attempt to live vicariously through a younger and more confident soul.  That person may possess the same gift and talents as you but will never be able to do what you do they way you do and vice-versa.

R –    Keeps you RELEVANT.  No matter how old you get or how long you've been living out your purpose, when you stay in the flow of creativity and stay focused on you're craft then people, situations, and events will continue to come your way time after time.  You will instantly modify with the times and continue to develop.  Also, when it's time to do something else, you will adjust with ease and still be just as successful as long as you stay open to creativity and believe that you are here to something which only you can do.

P –    When you're walking in it, you are POWERFUL!!!! People are in awe of you and how effortless you perform, speak, operate,  work, and give when you are flowing in purpose.  You appear powerful to all, because you are powerful.  Living on purpose and in your purpose is living in Power.  You are literally invincible (not from an arrogant place, but from a loving place where you are truly loving yourself, what God has given you, and using it).

O –   May appear OMINOUS sometimes.  Yes, as beautiful and promising as your purpose is, there are times when you will think and feel completely opposite about them.  Our dreams and purpose can feel so out of reach sometimes; and, it's completely necessary because our purpose is larger than us.  Though you may function effortlessly within your purpose, your accomplishments are not suppose to be easy.  If you don't have to employ some amount of faith, you'd never know how great your calling and how important it is for us to do what we are born to do.

S –    Gives you a sense of SATISFACTION.  Walking in your purpose always makes you feel fulfilled, joyful, and happy.  There are times you will be exhausted from carrying out your calling, but never too tired to do it again.

E –    Makes it easy to operate in EXCELLENCE!!!!!  You always want to do your very best when you know that you are doing that thing which only you can do the way that you do it.  When the world is waiting and watching, you always give 100%, not for yourself but for them.  This is a true act of service and a great way to know that you are purposed to do that thing at that very moment.

Lord,  I thank you for my sister reading this right now!!  I ask that you speak to her in a way that she understands and let her know just how important she is and remind her that she is powerful and there is nothing to fear when things seem complicated.  We know that it takes faith to walk in a purpose filled life and we are thankful that you are here as our guide, our strength, and our encourager.  We will operate in excellence as we serve the people you've entrusted to us and make a lasting impact on their lives.  Your spirit lives in us; therefore, we know that though it may not always seem easy as long as we accept who we are in you, we will function effortlessly in fulfilling the dreams you've placed inside of us!  Thank you, Father, and Amen!!!
